Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Business Pathfinder (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Business Pathfinder is an online publication aimed at UK-based entrepreneurs and small business founders. It is operated as an independent project; nothing on the Site is intended to create an employment, agency, partnership or fiduciary relationship between you and us.
2. No financial, legal or professional advice
All content on Business Pathfinder — including business ideas, comparisons, quiz results, blog posts, partner reviews and the recommended "starter stack" — is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It is not financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice or any other form of regulated professional advice.
You should always carry out your own research and consult a suitably qualified professional (accountant, solicitor, FCA-authorised adviser) before making any business, financial or legal decision based on information you read here.
3. Affiliate disclosure
Business Pathfinder participates in affiliate and referral programmes. When you click certain links on the Site — including links to Tide, Capital on Tap and other partners listed on our Partner Offers page — and subsequently sign up or transact, we may earn a commission, referral fee or revenue share at no additional cost to you.
This may influence which providers we choose to feature, but it does not influence our editorial opinions. Where reader-exclusive bonuses (e.g. cash bonuses, points, free months) are offered, the bonus amount, eligibility criteria and full T&Cs are set by the partner provider, not by us, and may change at any time without notice.
4. Accuracy of information
We work hard to keep pricing, features, eligibility criteria, bonuses, referral codes and other partner information accurate and up to date. However, partner offers change frequently. Before signing up with any provider you should verify the current terms directly on the provider's own website. We accept no liability for losses arising from out-of-date or inaccurate third-party information displayed on the Site.
5. Permitted use of the Site
You may use Business Pathfinder for your own personal and business research. You must not:
- scrape, mass-download or republish substantial portions of the Site without prior written permission;
- use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable UK law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any related infrastructure;
- use the Site to transmit malware, spam or any harmful or unlawful content.
6. Intellectual property
All content on Business Pathfinder — including text, branding, logos, design, original images and the underlying quiz logic — is owned by Business Pathfinder or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright law. You may share short quotes with attribution and a link back, but you may not reproduce, modify or commercially exploit our content without our express written permission.
7. Third-party services and links
The Site contains links to third-party websites (partner providers, source articles, tools). We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, suitability for purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability.
We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any partner product referenced on it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Site, partner relationships or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute.
